As a general rule, if you are making a change to the exterior of your home or a change, improvement, or addition anywhere on your lot you need to obtain approval from the Association’s review committee before the project is started. The Association’s governing documents will provide information about what type of modifications may be alowed and any restrictions that are in place regaring potential property changes. Obtaining approval from your association is always the safest course of action to prevent potential issues.
